PLANNING THE NEXT 24 HOURS:Wednesday afternoon will be a bit warmer with highs reaching the upper 70s/lower 80s for much of southern Wisconsin along with more sunshine.
EXTENDED FORECAST: Each morning the next couple of days there may be patchy fog, but widespread dense fog is not expected except for areas along they river valley. Rain chances will return Thursday afternoon and evening along a cold front, although heavy rain or severe weather is not expected. The cold front will then bring the coolest air we've seen for months across southern Wisconsin for the weekend, with low temperatures in the lower to middle 40s and high temperatures in the 60s. Temperatures will warm right back up next week.
